The 1st International Conference ICT 2020 will be held on 20-21 January 2020 at the Dos Hermanas Campus of Loyola University Andalusia, to discuss Law and Criminology in the new digital era.
This International Conference will provide an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the challenges which digitalization poses for Law and Criminology with an outstanding multidisciplinary group of experts. This International Conference will analyze the impact of digitalization on the Law and the legal profession. Some of the discussion topics will be the development and application of artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, geo-blocking, smart cities or robotics and the job market.
One of the biggest challenges of current Criminology is the analysis of criminal behavior related to ICT. The way of understanding, detecting, preventing and controlling crime has changed in recent times thanks to them. This conference will address a plurality of criminological issues related to cybercrime (cyberattacks, phishing, sexting, cyberbullying, etc), electronic monitoring (RF/GPS), the application of video surveillance in the public spaces, geographic information systems (SIG), mobile devices and/or Apps, among others.
