Through this website, LOYOLA facilitates users’ access to diverse content, information and data made available to users by said entity or by third-party service and content providers. LOYOLA reserves the right to modify the presentation, configuration and location of the website at any time, as well as the content and conditions required for its use.
CONDITIONS GOVERNING ACCESS AND USE OF THE WEBSITE
1. Acceptance of terms and conditions of use
Users must agree to make proper and lawful use of this website and any content gathered, in accordance with the relevant law, the general conditions of use applicable at all times, and generally accepted principles of morality and ethical conduct, required to use said content.
LOYOLA reserves the right to modify these terms at any moment and without prior notice. As such, users are required to review these general terms and conditions of use each time they connect to the web portal.
2. Access to the INTRANET

LOYOLA does not guarantee the legality, reliability, veracity, accuracy, thoroughness, or up-to-date nature of the Contents.
Therefore, LOYOLA is not responsible for possible damage or harm of any kind that may arise for users, in particular, although not exclusively, possible damage or harm that may be due to:
Failure to comply with the Law, morality, generally accepted principles of conduct, and/or public order, as a result of services rendered by third parties on the Web Page;

Article 34 of Law 17/2001, dated the 17th of December, on Trademarks, as well as other national legislation that may be applicable, guarantees the exclusive right to the use of the aforementioned distinctive signs in the course of trade. Their use by third parties lacking the relevant authorization is therefore strictly prohibited.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION.
Loyola complies with the obligations established by Organic Law 15/1999, dated the 13th of December, on Personal Data Protection, along with its implementing Regulation as approved by the Royal Decree 1720/2007, dated the 21st of December, and remaining existing legislation which may be in force and applicable at any given time, ensuring the observance of all obligations and rights of relevant parties concerning the processing of personal data. Moreover, in compliance with the provisions of Law 34/2002, dated the 11th of July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, Loyola will request users’ prior consent for sending commercial notifications, in the event that they occur, while adhering to all users’ obligations and rights.
In light of the above, in order to use particular services users must provide LOYOLA with certain personal data. Therefore, in accordance with Law 15/1999 on Personal Data Protection, users consent to and authorize LOYOLA to process their personal data in this same setting, as well as collaborating entities, in order to develop all aspects related to admission and access to university studies, academic work (teaching research), employability, former students (Loyola-Alumni), where the following is available on all data entry forms that exist on the Portal: information pertaining to the identification of the person/entity responsible for the file, the purposes for processing their personal data, as well as the possibility to exercise user rights, as will be outlined below; all of which is done by previously reading and accepting our personal data protection policy, becoming duly informed of the terms indicated herein.

Furthermore, with regard to the images that Loyola can publish on the Portal, Loyola declares that it has received the consent of those persons who appear in them, having been previously informed of the use of these images in the established legal terms, and being adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to their purpose.
Alternatively, it should be taken into account that an individual’s image rights do not prevent the propagation of graphical information regarding public events or occurrences when the image of a particular person appears in a purely incidental manner, such as when referring to figures who hold public office or occupations of notoriety or public visibility and the image is captured during a public event or in spaces open to the public, unless it concerns authorities or persons who perform functions which, due to their nature, require their anonymity.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
